Rudbeckia /'Black-eyed Susans'

4.98 9.95

These golden daisies with the black eyes (actually brown eyes but who cares) thrive in heat and look great in a very massive planting. They are also attractive to butterflies and have a very long bloom time, lasting into October in some regions. Great planted with Miscanthus (big green grasses), russian sage (dusty purple perennial), and echinacea (long stalky pink/purple daisy like flowers). Brown eyes are actually not really eyes, they are seed heads, and provide texture in the winter months.

Conditions: Full sun to part shade
Water: Low
Bloom time: Mid summer to Fall
Size: 2'-3' tall and 18"-24" wide
