The Maidenhair fern may be my all-time favorite indoor plant. They are delicate, very green, with foliage that varies in shape. They are just beautiful. But the main thing about Maidenhair Ferns is that they need lots of water (i keep a sprayer handy). IT the leaves turn brown, don't despair, it's not necessarily dead. Other than being very needy of water, they are pretty easy going and like a sunny spot indoors, and a shady spot if planted outside.
Conditions: A somewhat sunny spot if indoors and shady if outside.
Water: lots (and spray, too), loves moist rich soil
