Liatris 'Spicata'

7.48

This is a native and really needs very little love to look spectacular. It goes by the common name 'Blazing Star' and looks like purple wands, attracting both bees and butterflies and is "deer resistant". You can try growing it from seed but will usually take two years to bloom that way. Bloom time is mid to late summer, and grows to between 24"-48". Looks great with rudbeckia, miscanthus,

Conditions: Full to partial sun
Water: dry to average
Size: 24"-48"
