You may be asking yourself, why would you plant this grass? It looks so,...well...a lot like other grasses. But it is distinctive: It has very fine, thin blades that are grey/gold and very delicate with pink coral seed head tips in the Fall season. It also can do well in part shade. I have planted this on lawns beyond the line for mowing, or past the sod line to have a more natural looking border to a property. A great combination: Deschampsia with Alliums.
Conditions: Full Sun to Partial Shade
Bloom: Early Fall
