This perennial has a bright yellow umbrella shaped flower with grey/green foliage and booms in early spring into the summer. It does very well in full sun and the driest of soils. If you deadhead it, it might actually bloom twice. It also comes in a variety of colors, including pink and red. The yellow is called 'moonshine' however there are tons of hybrids including 'summer wine', 'terra-cotta' and 'water fence'. I love it coupled with the dusty purple Russian Sage, and also looks great with Echinacea Salvia and Monarda.
Conditions: Full sun to partial shade
